Afzal Mohsin joined Vale in 2011 and over the past decade has served in various senior leadership functions, from finance to compliance and risk. As the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability chief for Asia Pacific based in Kuala Lumpur, Afzal is spearheading Vale’s transformation towards becoming a safer, more sustainable, and socially responsible organization in the region, aligned with the company’s global objectives.

Mr. Anurag Pandey holds an electrical engineering degree from IIT Roorkee and furthered his education with an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. Commencing his journey with Tata Steel Limited (TSL) as a graduate trainee in 1993, he has since traversed through various roles across the value chain – Operations/Supply chain and M&. Besides functioning in various verticals within Tata Steel, he also had an opportunity to work across various states of India, which has played a critical role in professional and personal development.

He was business head for a downstream unit of long products- Wires Division, which is a leading wire manufacturer in India, with an aspiration to become 1 million Tons/Annum by FY30. 

From Feb 26, he is President & CEO  heading the Tata Steel Thailand. 
 
Beyond the Professional real, he nurtures a passion for long-distance running. This passion not only reflects commitment to a healthy lifestyle but also helps in developing qualities such as discipline and perseverance.


Muhamad Akbar Djohan is a prominent Indonesian corporate executive and logistics leader serving as the President Director (Direktur Utama) of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. Known for his strategic vision, he previously served as Commercial Director at Krakatau Steel and President Director of Krakatau International Port (PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera), where he led initiatives to transform the facility into an advanced, digital smart and green port.   Holding a degree in International Law from Hasanuddin University and a Master’s in Logistics Management from Universitas Pancasila, Djohan has accumulated deep expertise across maritime, supply chain, and trade sectors. In addition to his corporate roles, he is an active advocate for Indonesia's logistics framework, serving as the General Chairman of the Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders Association (ALFI) and holding leadership positions in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).

Mr. Sanjay Mehta heads the MTC Group, a five-decade-old business group employing over 5,000 people. He is also the President of the Material Recycling Association of India (MRAI), the apex body representing India's recycling industry, and is a leading advocate for sustainable recycling and the circular economy.
Mr. Sanjay Mehta holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and brings along a vast experience of 42 years in Metal Scrap Recycling trade & industry in India and International trade. Having his offices in USA, UK, Singapore and Dubai, Mr. Mehta has travelled extensively over the world and he has been handling the international business of his MTC Group.
MTC Group has business activities in Trading of Ferrous, Non-Ferrous scrap & Ferro Alloys, Manufacturing of steel billets, Rebars, Structural Steel & Copper Tubes. The Group is also into E-Waste recycling, ELV dismantling/shredding, Plant dismantling & demolition activities. Also, the Group has Automobile dealerships known as Madhuban Toyota (for Toyota cars) with 3 showrooms in Mumbai. MTC Group is the largest Ferrous Scrap procurement, processing, recycling & steel manufacturing company in India having various scrap yards across India, handling a yearly volume of over 1.8 million tons of Ferrous & Non-Ferrous metals/scrap and ferro alloys.
Mr. Mehta is highly passionate about sustainability, circular economy, and resource efficiency, which are essential pillars for the country’s progress. Mr. Mehta’s vision and aim is to promote recycling, sustainability and bring best recycling practices in India to achieve a sustainable greener planet

Jason Ang is the Director of Sustainability at Meranti Green Steel, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience across manufacturing, the built environment, and the steel sector. A Mechanical Engineer by training, Jason holds an Executive Master of Science in Sustainability from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Prior to his current role, he served as the Business Leader for NS BlueScope Lysaght Singapore, where he directed business strategy, financial performance, and sustainable growth initiatives. His career spans extensive leadership roles across operations, supply chain management, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), and sustainability framework implementation.
At Meranti Green Steel, Jason combines technical engineering expertise with strategic management to drive decarbonization, operational excellence, and workplace safety. He focuses on embedding digital analytics and commercial discipline into core sustainability strategies, transforming clean steel transition efforts into long-term value and market competitiveness.


Osama is the Executive Director at Better Deals, Pakistan's largest ferrous and non-ferrous brokerage house, moving nearly 2 million metric tons of steel annually as a primary sales partner for global producers and recyclers. Since joining his family business in 2005, Osama has navigated the company through major global market cycles—including the crashes of 2008, 2014, and 2020—while safeguarding international trade partners. A frequent global conference speaker, he brings deep, first-hand expertise in South Asian steel market trends and serves as a trusted link connecting international industry leaders. 

After earning his MBA in 2002 in Philadelphia, Görkem Bolaca launched his career in the US with Saint-Gobain and SEI Investments. He pivoted to the steel industry in 2005, boosting exports for a Turkish mill, and by 2010, directed steel commodities at London's LN Metals. In 2012, Bolaca established Galex Steel International. This multinational trading company specializes in flat steel. 
 
With extensive experience spanning European, Asian, and Middle Eastern markets, Bolaca specializes in navigating geopolitical trade shifts, freight cost fluctuations, tariff structures, and decarbonization trends like the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Known for advocating transparency and strong human relationships in commercial trading, he actively advises on trade mechanics, slab sourcing, and regional supply chain resilience.
 
Today, Galex is a global trading company serving markets across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, with strategic offices in China, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Türkiye, and India.

Transformational leader with a track record of steering multi-billion-dollar commercial operations in Bangladesh's steel sector. He has the experience to translate macro-economic infrastructure trends into actionable business strategies that deliver sustainable P&L growth and market share gains.

His leadership philosophy centers on building resilient organizations—aligning supply chain optimization, brand equity, and talent development to outperform in volatile commodity markets.
